I've spent over 20 years teaching people to understand and manage perceptual gifts — experiences the world
too often mislabels as something broken. My work today centers on a simple, functional distinction I've built
into a full clinical framework: a mental disorder gives orders. A perceptual gift gives information.
In September 2026, I'll be presenting this framework at Yale School of Medicine's Spirituality and Psychiatry
